Chloe Bennet has been cast in the pilot for Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. as Skye, according to The Wrap, which described the character as "a young woman who’s fascinated with superheroes and the organizations that spring up around them."  Bennet has had a recurring role on Nashville.

She joins a number of actors who have already been cast as members of the team (see "ABC Prexy Calls 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Series 'Very Joss Whedon'").
