An Official ICv2 Release.  ICv2 is pleased to announce the release of its first ICv2 Retailers Guide To Games, which is debuting this week at the GAMA trade show in Las Vegas.  The magazine covers all the major areas of non-electronic gaming including collectible card games (CCGs), collectible miniature games (CMGs), role-playing games (RPGs), and specialty boardgames.  Among the key topics covered in this print exclusive publication are: the size of the market, and the size of each component part; the top game properties; the key game magazines that help build the hobby; the top second quarter releases in each of the gaming categories; and lots of suggestions from retailers about running and profiting from in-store gaming events.

The magazine is intended to be a tool that retailers can refer back to throughout the coming months.  ICv2 founder and Publisher Milton Griepp noted, 'We wanted to create a publication that retailers can use to learn more about the actual size of the market, the top properties, and how to get more out of in-store gaming events.  We wanted to cover the key releases of the second quarter and make this a useful reference tool that retailers can use throughout the spring.' Although Griepp has not announced a formal schedule for the Retailers Guide To Games, he did announce that a second volume would be published in July in time for GenCon.

This publication is free to retailers.  It will be distributed free to retailers by Alliance Game Distributors and Diamond Comic Distributors this week and next.  It was also given to each attendee at the GAMA Trade Show in Las Vegas this week.  Retailers can also request copies by sending store name and address to ICv2 via e-mail (click here).  Non-retailers can order copies for $10 through our on-line store by clicking here.
