Two new tracks are available for the perennial favorite race car game Formula D. The Circuits 4 expansion set (MSRP $29.99) will include the Grand Prix of Baltimore track in the US, and the fast track of Buddh, India.
The Buddh track features improved overtaking options for a faster and more competitive race. The Baltimore track offers a Pit Stop for added challenges. Both tracks are based on their real-world counterparts, and are presented on opposite sides of the double-sided game board. A short rule book completes the Circuits 4 set.
A copy of the Formula D base game is required to use Circuits 4. The suggested retail price for the expansion kit will be $29.99.
With the new expansion, there are now a total of 10 different tracks available for the game.
Formula D is Laurent Lavaur and Eric Randall’s 2008 re-launch of their own hit from 1991, Formula De. The game uses multiple-shaped polyhedral dice to represent the various gears of a Formula 1 racecar. Reviewer Bill Bodden gave Formula D 4.5 stars in his ICv2 review of the game (see "Review of 'Formula D'").
