Humanoids has announced Armies, by Dionnet, Gal, and Picaret, for April.  Written by one of Les Humanoides Associés and Metal Hurlant founders, Jean-Pierre Dionnet, Armies reprints the "Conquering Armies" serial originally published in 1977.  Illustrated by Jean-Claude Gal, artist behind Alejandro Jodorowsky's Diosamante, Armies also includes a foreword by Dionnet, a postscript by 2000AD creator Pat Mills, as well as the original German-language story "Arns Triumph Zweites Buch" from Dionnet, Gal, and Picaret, who wrote Polonius for Les Humanoides in the late 1970s.

Armies will be a 184-page, oversized color hardcover replicating the original European print size (9.5 x 12.5), and retail for $34.95.

Humanoids has previously announced its first quarter releases (see "Muse and District 14").
