A new storyline, Beast Hunters, is launching across the Transformers property this year, centered around the new season of the Transformers Prime animated show. IDW Publishing will launch its tie-in comic series, Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters, in May.
The comic series will be written by Mairghread Scott and Mike Johnson, who are heavily involved in the Transformers Prime TV series. Art on the comics will be by Agustin Padilla, with covers by Ken Christiansen and Michael Lark.
In Beast Hunters, the Dinobots are miles beneath the ruins of Cybertron, thosands of years after its fall, fighting off mysterious new villains while they wait for Optimus Prime to save them.
Hasbro will be producing toys based on Beast Hunters, and apparel will also be available.
