IDW Publishing has announced that series showrunner Chris Carter will executive-produce its new X-Files series: X-Files: Season 10.  The series, under Carter’s guidance, will be written by Joe Harris, with art by Michael Walsh and colors by Jordie Bellaire.  The first issue will include covers by Dave Johnson, Joe Corroney, and Carlos Valenzuela as well as a photo cover.  The new series will launch in June.
IDW’s license, which includes both new comics and reprints of the Topps and Wildstorm issues, was announced in January (see "IDW to Publish 'X-Files' Comic Book Series").
Series (and movie) star David Duchovny recently urged fans to write Fox asking for a third movie in an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, according to Hollywood Reporter.  "We always want to," he said.  "Chris Carter and Gillian Anderson and I, we’re always on board."
