Q-Workshop, known for their highly-detailed adventure gaming dice sets, has made an agreement with Warmachine publisher Privateer Press to produce a line of dice for the game. In addition, Q-Workshop will produce dice sets for Privateer’s other product lines, Hordes and Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy Role Playing Game.
The Warmachine dice will be premiered at next week’s Gama Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, and are scheduled to be available for sale after the show. A set of dice for each of the game’s factions are planned. Each set includes six six-sided dice: five dice in the faction colors and one Warmachine die for determining attack deviation and the hit location of attacks in the game.
In a press release, Privateer Press Director of Business William Shick described the joint venture by saying, "Teaming up with Q-Workshop allows us to create the high quality dice we’ve long wanted to produce."
Dice sets themed for the Iron Kingdoms RPG are planned to release in April. Dice for Hordes are scheduled for May.
Warmachine was the second best-selling non-collectible miniatures line last summer (see "Top 5 Non-Collectible Miniature Lines--Summer 2012").
