Pre-registrations for the GAMA Trade Show, to be held next week in Las Vegas, are up around 35% over 2012 in stores represented, from 153 in 2012 to 208 in 2013.  Final count will be above this number, accounting for walk-ins.  A number of changes, including expansion of the retailer attendance appreciation box, show specials, and more manufacturer presentations were implemented this year to increase attendance (see "John Ward on Changes at the GAMA Trade Show in 2013"). 

A trading card show, the Las Vegas Industry Summit, is being held at the Orleans the 17th to the 20th (GTS is the 18th to the 22nd), perhaps giving retailers that would normally attend it a chance to sample GTS as well (and vice versa).
