Adam Kubert, one of Marvel's top X-Men artists (Ultimate X-Men), will auction off his services for a three-hour comic book store signing anywhere in the U.S. on May 3, 2003.  The appearance, which coincides with the release of the X-Men 2 film on May 2 and Free Comic Book Day on May 3, will benefit the National Childhood Cancer Foundation. Wizard Entertainment and Dynamic Forces are co-sponsoring Adam's appearance so that all proceeds can go to charity. The ten-day auction for retailers kicks off on eBay.com on Friday, March 28 and runs through April 6 (beginning and ending at 11pm Eastern).   Click here to access the site (after 11pm Friday).

Since one of the Free Comic Book Day giveaways is a version of Kubert and Mark Millar's Ultimate X-Men #1, there should be plenty of comics available for Adam to sign.  Adam will also sign the Wizard X-Men special, and Dynamic Forces is offering signed editions of the Ultimate X-Men #1 for $10, with all proceeds going to the National Childhood Cancer Foundation.  These signed editions will also be available (for those who can't get to the store signing) on the Dynamic Forces website for $10 (plus shipping and handling).
