Zoe Saldana is in talks to play Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy, according to Hollywood Reporter.  Saldana has a great body of work in big-time science fiction films, including Avatar, Star Trek, and the upcoming Star Trek into Darkness. 

Saldana would join director James Gunn and Dave Bautista as Drax and Chris Pratt as Star-Lord (see "WWE Star Is Drax").  The film will open August 1, 2014.
