Marvel has announced Superior Spider-Man Team-Up, a new ongoing title launching in July during "Superior Spider-Month."  Chris Yost (New X-Men) will handle scripting duties while David Lopez (Fallen Angel) is onboard as the illustrator.  Covers will be drawn by Eisner Award-winner Paolo Rivera.

Intended to give fans a "whole new look into the world of Superior Spider-Man," Superior Spider-Man Team-Up will pit the Arachnid Avenger against a variety of heroes and villains.

The announcement of Superior Spider-Man Team-Up follows on the heels of news regarding such "Superior Spider-Month" titles as Superior Carnage (see "'Superior Carnage'") and The Superior Foes of Spider-Man (see "'The Superior Foes of Spider-Man'").

Marvel has also announced a new "Shadowland" story arc for Superior Spider-Man, beginning with issue #14, shipping in July.   Created by Dan Slott (script) and Humberto Ramos (art), the duo behind Amazing Spider-Man #700 (see "'Spidey' Tops $1.6 Million"), Superior Spider-Man #14 finds Otto Octavius trying to live up to his "superior" name by cleaning up New York City and eliminating Shadowland.

According to Marvel, the issue marks a new era for Spidey where he’ll get a "new allies, a new look, and an all-new agenda."
