Rubicon is an original hardcover graphic novel jointly produced by Archaia Entertainment and Meteor Entertainment, for June release.  Penned by New York Times best-selling author Mark Long (The Silence of Our Friends), writer/director Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie, The Tourist, Jack Reacher) and Dan Capel, a Seal Team VI veteran, Rubicon will be illustrated by Mario Stilla.  The 128-page, full color hardcover will retail for $24.95.

With a foreword by New York Times best-selling author Richard Marcinko (Rogue Warrior), former Commanding Officer of Seal Team VI, Rubicon will also come packaged in a special pouch envelope that includes exclusive extras associated with the book, such as a tactical map, commendations, citations, and private letters between the characters.

Adapted as an homage to Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai, Rubicon is a story of the Afghanistan War where a team of United States Navy SEALs assist and defend a small village from Taliban assault.

In addition to the regular edition, Archaia and Meteor will also publish a limited slipcase edition available only through Archaia's web store and Meteor's Hawken website.  Customers will also receive an additional $10 in Meteor credits with the purchase of Rubicon.  Archaia will also sell copies of the limited edition on hand at SDCC in July and NYCC in October.

Prior to Rubicon, Archaia and Meteor teamed up for the Hawken: Genesis original graphic novel based upon Meteor's online game (see "'Hawken' OGN").
