Mantic Games has acquired the license to produce a miniature-based tabletop war-game based on Topps’ Mars Attacks.  The new game will combine high quality sculpted figures with fast tactical gameplay. 

Mars Attacks is the first license for Mantic Games, which produces Warpath and Dreadball (see "'Dreadball'"), both house IPs.  Mantic’s Mars Attacks game will launch in early 2014. 

The game will include new characters and factions that will also appear in upcoming comics (published by IDW) and toys.  The game will also tie in with Topps’ all-new series Mars Attacks:  Invasion (see "'Mars Attacks: Invasion'").
