
Disney’s The Lone Ranger remains one of this summer’s few huge gambles, an attempt to revive the big budget western, a genre that has suffered from consumer apathy for decades. Disney is pulling out all of the stops on its publicity barrage, which began last October with the release of the movies first trailer (see "First 'Lone Ranger' Trailer") and has continued unabated since then (see "New HD Trailer for 'The Lone Ranger'").
