WizKids will launch the Dominion War organized play event for Star Trek: Attack Wing, its new Star Trek HeroClix miniatures game (see "'Star Trek: Attack Wing'"), in September.

The six-month long organized play event will be centered on the Dominion War, and stores carrying Star Trek: Attack Wing will be able to host tournaments for players to challenge each other for dominance of the Alpha Quadrant.  Articulated most extensively in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series, the Dominion War concerns the Federation and their allies' struggle against the Dominion forces of the Jem’Hadar, the Breen Confederacy and the Cardassian Union.  Each month, players will collect a participation prize, as well as competing for a new playable ship only offered via the Organized Play event.  The player with the best record over the entire six month program will be awarded the title of Fleet Admiral and will take home a special grand prize.
