David Luebke of Dave's Comics in Richmond, Virginia shares his displeasure of DC Comics "hiding" the title of their comics during their upcoming "Villain's Month" event.
I am alarmed that DC comics has to resort to hiding the title of their comics during "Villain's Month" for the purpose of stimulating sales. It is confusing for organizing the racks, and confusing for filing purposes for back issues. It gives the customers an excuse to re-evaluate whether they should continue spending money on books that are editorially moribund. From my point of view, I sincerely hope that they keep the title where it should be and put the words "Featuring" assorted villain UNDERNEATH the title. Good writing and art are the reason for readers to continue to support titles, not gimmicks.
