DC announced two new digital comic formats, which will both launch with digital-first media-based titles.  DC Squared, which will layer dynamic artwork onto digital comics, will launch with Batman 66 (see “Batman Classic TV Licensing Program”), the new comic based on the Batman TV show starring Adam West.

DC Squared Multiverse sounds like a digital choose-your-own-adventure book, with varying storylines chosen by the reader leading to different possible endings for each chapter.  This format will premiere with Batman:  Arkham Origins, tied to the upcoming video game.
