BOOM! Studios has announced that Steven Grant and Michael Zeck's Damned will return as a trade paperback.  Available on July 31st, the 144-page, full color collection will cost $16.99.  
 
Originally published in 1997 from Image Comics, Damned was a four-issue series by Grant (2 Guns, Robocop: Last Stand) and Zeck (The Punisher, Secret Wars).  Previously, Grant and Zeck had worked together on The Punisher: Circle of Blood in 1989.  Cyberosia Publishing released a trade collection of Damned in 2003.  BOOM! has timed its edition to correspond with the premier of the 2 Guns motion picture starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg on August 2. 
 
BOOM! didn’t say, though, if reprinting this classic crime series is a precursor to a sequel or new project between Grant and Zeck.  Recently, Grant signed with BOOM! for a sequel to 2 Guns entitled 3 Guns (see "BOOM! Plans '2 Guns' Sequel"). 
 
The Damned collection will also include a foreword by Grant and character studies by Zeck.
