Privateer Press will release a new sourcebook for its Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy Roleplaying Game in September.  Kings, Nations, and Gods focuses on the core nations of the Iron Kingdoms world.
 
This 384 page, full color, hardcover book documents the history, culture, and social structures of the Cygnar, Khador, Llael, Ord, and Protectorate of Menoth nations.  New career paths, character skills, and magic spells are presented, along with new equipment, mechanika, and magic weapons.  Much of the book focuses on the battlefields of western Immoren (including the steamjacks and warjacks of that area), a discussion of regional and military adventuring companies, and an overview of life in the world of Iron Kingdoms.
 
The new book will have a suggested retail price of $59.99.
 
The Iron Kingdom Core Rules was released last October (see "'Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy Role-Playing Game: Core Rules'"), and has proven to be a popular and critical success.  The game was the fifth best-selling roleplaying game in Fall 2012 (see "Top 5 RPGs--Fall 2012"), and was nominated for an Origins Award for 'Best Roleplaying Game" (see "Origins Nominations Announced").
