Gen Con will host its 7th annual Trade Day on Wednesday, August 14. The event will feature hands-on training for retailers, educators and librarians, through different seminar and event tracks.
Registration for Trade Day includes access to the Wednesday Trade Day Programming, support items including free games and lesson plans from publishers, a complimentary 4-day Gen Con Indy 2013 badge, and early access to the Exhibit Hall on Thursday, August 15.
Trade Day programming is only open to hobby retailers, distributors, educators, student teachers, and librarians. Gen Con will require participants to submit proof of employment for on-site badge pickup. Last year a record 232 badges were issued for Trade Day participants (see "Record-breaking Gen Con").
The Welcome Reception at 9am will begin a full day of programming for both Librarian/Educator and Retailer tracks that runs from 10am – 9pm. Several companies including Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, and Wyrd Miniatures will be hosting programming, and Wizards President Greg Leeds will be hosting a half hour Q&A session for retailers at 5pm.
