Earlier this year, NECA announced they would be producing limited edition Greatest Guest Stars figures as part of The Simpsons’ 25th season anniversary.  The first five (of 25) figures have now been revealed: Hugh Hefner, James Brown, Yao Ming, Tom Hanks and Kid Rock.  They will be released in early 2014.
 
The celebrity line will feature guest stars’ likenesses as they appeared on the animated Simpsons show or possibly The Simpsons Movie.  Additional celebrities will include other actors, actresses, sports heroes and musical artists. New products will be introduced every two to three months.
