WizKids has announced the details of its upcoming Dominion War Storyline Organized Play Event.  The program is scheduled to begin in September and continues into February 2014.  The Grand Prize for the program will be a model of the Deep Space 9 space station.
 
The program centers around a series of linked events that simulate a war between the Federation Alliance and the Cardassians and their Dominion allies over control of the Bajoran Wormhole and the Deep Space 9 station.
 
Participants in each month’s event will earn special promo cards and have a chance to compete for pre-painted model ships for use in the game.
 
To generate excitement for the event, WizKids revealed a "sneak peek" of the Dominion War OP grand prize:  a 12 inch diameter model of Deep Space 9.  The model will be fully compatible with the Star Trek: Attack Wing game, and includes its own crew, tech, and weapon cards for the game.
 
WizKids will be promoting its organized play program at Gen Con.  The new event was originally announced in May (see "WizKids Announces 'Star Trek:  Attack Wing' OP").
