Big time producer David Heyman (Harry Potter, Gravity) is in talks with Warner Bros. to develop a movie based on the mobile game franchise Temple Run, according to Hollywood Reporter.  Temple Run, from Imangi Studios, quickly became a hit, with nearly as many daily players as all of the Zynga games (like Angry Birds) combined, according to the New York Times. 

The game features an explorer who steals an idol from a temple, and then runs to escape his pursuers.    

The relationship with Warners will be something of an ecumenical move for Imangi, which also has a relationship with Disney for licensed games (Imangi produced games tied to Oz the Great and Powerful and Brave).
