Marvel has released a trailer for the OVA Marvel’s Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher, which will release March 25.  The OVA is produced by Marvel, Sony Pictures Entertainment (Japan) Inc. and anime powerhouse Madhouse, which previously produced anime featuring Marvel characters (see "'Wolverine,' 'Iron Man' Anime").
 
Black Widow is voiced by Jennifer Carpenter, and the Punisher by Brian Bloom.  Iron Man Thor, Hulk, and the rest of the Avengers, collaborate with the title characters in a mission to stop Leviathan, a global terrorist organization that plans to sell stolen S.H.I.E.L.D. technology to the highest bidder.
 
Directed by Kenichi Shimizu, with a story by Marjorie Liu and screenplay by Mitsutaka Hirota, the 83-minute, PG-13 movie will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The release will include two behind-the-scenes making-of featurettes, and the Blu-ray will also have a special Conceptual Art Gallery.
