Fantasy Flight Games will release Forsaken Lore, the first expansion for its Eldritch Horror board game (see "'Eldritch Horror' from FFG"), in the second quarter.
 
In Forsaken Lore, players are once again thrown into the Lovecraftian battle to save the world from the Ancient Ones’ return.  This expansion pits investigators against Yig, the Father of Serpent, as his cultists and Serpent People attempt to return him to this realm.  The 200-card deck includes new Spells, Assets, and Artifacts; as well as over 100 new encounter cards, 20 condition cards, and 14 new mysteries.
 
As an expansion, it requires the Eldritch Horror base game to play.  The game is for 1- 8 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 2 – 4 hours.  MSRP is set at $24.95.
