WizKids will release Marvel HeroClix: Guardians of the Galaxy, beginning on August 6, with the first of three SKUs, the 24 Ct. Gravity Feed.  The comic-based Booster Packs and Fast Force Pack will release on August 13, along with the Organized Play Kit.  The release is well timed for the August 1 movie opening (see "First Pic, Synopsis for 'Guardians'"). Characters from this comic book based set cover multiple incarnations of the Guardians team. A separate movie themed set will release in July.
  
The single-figure foil packs retail for $2.99.  The 10 figures have flat rarity and will include popular Guardian of the Galaxy characters as well as enemies like the Badoon and Kree.
 
The five-figure Booster Packs retail for $12.99 and will contain more than 80 all-new figures from all GoG eras, including the "Marvel HeroClix Fan Vote Winner"--Sleepwalker, and the HeroClix Modern Age World Champion piece, Shriek. The rarity breakdown is 24 Common figures (plus one Prime figure), 17 Uncommon figures (plus one Prime), 16 Rare figures (plus one Prime figure), 12 Super Rare figures (plus one Prime), and 8 Thematic Chase Figures.
 


The Guardians of the Galaxy "The Inhumans”"Fast Forces Pack will include 6 figures from The Royal Family of intergalactic Inhumans (The Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, and Lockjaw), as well as two exclusive maps.  MSRP is $16.99.
 
The Organized Play Kit will include 12 limited edition figures (three each of four figures), 20 3D special objects (10 copies of two different 3D objects), 10 2-sides maps, and an instruction sheet.  Stores are limited in the number of OP Kits they may order from their distributor based on cumulative cases of product ordered, with no more than 3 OP Kits per retail store.
