The final volume in The Library Of American Comics and IDW’s magnum opus on the career of Alex Toth, titled Genius, Animated, will release in April. The 328-page, 9.5" x 13" volume will carry an MSRP of $49.99.This volume, by Dean Mullaney and Bruce Canwell, covers the contributions Toth made to the animation industry. "Genius, Animated gives readers a ‘behind the scenes’ look, with lots of previously-unreleased artwork and commentary by experts in the animation field," said Canwell. The book will have an in-depth look at work from the Hanna-Barbera archives, including character designs and storyboards, chronicling old favorites such as Space Ghost, Shazzan!, and Superfriends.
