ADV Films has announced that it will release a completely remastered version of all 25 episodes of the legendary anime series from 1983, Genesis Climber Mospeada.  The five-disk set has an srp of $89.98 and is available only with the original Japanese language soundtrack and English subtitles.  The series was never released in the U.S., though it did form the basis for the third chapter of the Robotech saga -- Robotech: The New Generations.  Katsuhisa Yamada (Battle of the Planets, Devil Hunter Yohko) directed Genesis Climber Mospeada, which featured designs by Yoshitaka Amano (1,001 Nights) and Shinji Aramaki (Gasaraki).

ADV worked extremely hard to get a clean digital transfer of the series from the original film stock, then restored the colors, and removed more than 60,000 individual defects including dust specks, splices, emulsion imperfections and scratches.  The result is the equivalent of watching the first showing of a virgin print of the series.
