Comics journalist Bill Baker passed away at his home in Escanaba, Michigan, over the weekend.  In addition to his periodical work, Baker worked on Icons:  The DC Comics and Wildstorm Art of Jim Lee (see "Preview of 'Icons'"), and had his interviews collected in a series by Rosen (see "Graphic Novelist Interviews form Rosen").

Baker was a regular attendee at the ICv2 Conferences, where he was always engaged, pleasant, and erudite.  He will be missed.
