New publisher Virtual Graphics will release its first graphic novel Endless Sky in May, and five other graphic novels in the U.S. and UK in 2014.
Endless Sky is an autobiographical tale of artist David Boller, who also is the founder of Virtual Graphics. The Swiss native moved to the U.S. in 1992, and after graduating from the Joe Kubert School of Graphics and Cartoon Art, he worked for Marvel, DC, Acclaim, Wildstorm, Top Cow and Warp Graphics, on such titles as Night Thrasher, Spider-Man 2099, ElfQuest: Jink and Kaos Moon. The graphic novel tells the story of how the threat of his wife’s kidney failure alters his life forever. The 280-page, black and white paperback graphic novel has an MSRP of $24.95.
The Last Days of Mankind--A graphic novel after Karl Kraus written by Reinhard Pietsch, with art by David Boller, will be published on June 28, 2014, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of WWI. The 184-page, black and white paperback will have an MSRP of $19.95.
In the Sect: My Life in Scientology is written by Pierre Guillon, with art by Louis Alloing. The 92 page, two-color paperback will release in August, with an MSRP of $14.95.
TELL: The Return of William Tell, with story and art by David Boller, will collect the entire storyline of the futuristic cyborg hero who bears an uncanny resemblance to the Swiss national symbol. The 164-page, full color paperback releases in August with an MSRP of $24.95.
Eventide Vol.1: The Hunted Bride is the first graphic novel release under the new Rose Noire imprint geared to a female audience. The vampire romance story is written by Mary Rachel Hildebrandt with art by David Boller. The 48 page, full color hardcover will release in October with an MSRP of $16.95.
The Legend of William Tell--A graphic novel after Fredrich Schiller is written by Nicolas Meylaender. The first ever realistic adaptation of the William Tell myth in graphic novel format will be a 64-page, full color hardcover with an MSRP of $19.95. It is scheduled for November release.
