The first trailer for Fox’s pre-Batman Gotham has been released, and it’s an atmospheric take on the Batman origin story and milieu.  Fox is impressed enough to confirm that it has ordered Gotham to series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.   

The cast includes Ben McKenzie as the young Commissioner Gordon, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as young Bruce Wayne, Robin Lord Taylor as the young Penguin, Cory Michael Smith as the young Riddler, and Camren Bicondova as the young Catwoman.  Cast pics have been appearing (see "More 'Gotham' Cast Pics"); this is the first video of the new series.
