Fantasy Flight Games has announced The Woodland, a new expansion for its Talisman Revised 4th Edition board game, planned for third quarter release.
 
This expansion introduces a new corner board, which is home to the fae.  There are new Alternate Endings, as well as five new characters.  While traveling in the Woodland, the Woodland cards will replace Adventure cards, and these new cards portray a variety of creatures, monsters and fae that players will encounter in their journey.  Players must also chose one of three Path cards when they enter the Woodland, which will affect character abilities in the wood, until they meet Destiny, which will transform character’s futures.
 
The box will contain a new corner board, five new characters, three new alternate endings, more than 20 new tokens, and nearly 150 new cards.  MSRP is $39.95.
