Fantasy Flight Games will release Cosmic Encounter: Cosmic Dominion, a new fan-designed expansion for its Cosmic Encounter board game, in August.
 
The fifth expansion for Cosmic Encounters, Cosmic Dominion will add 30 new aliens to the mix (the most of any expansion), with new powers and flares, and a new reward deck.  There are four new variants to change up game play, and new ship markers to allow players to create their own variants.  The fan-designed set is the result of nearly two years of collaboration with game devotees on both Facebook and Board Game Geek.
 
As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.  MSRP is $24.95.
