Dominic Postiglione, better known as Nick Post, co-owner of Source Comics & Games (two stores in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area), passed away on August 9th.  He was 52.

Source Comics and Games is widely considered one of the best and most successful comics and game stores in the country and won the Eisner Spirit of Retailing Award in 2002.  Source parent company Adventure Retail was a major convention retailer, specializing in retailing games, and representing publishers at shows.

In addition to the stores (Source and Uncle Sven’s), Post was deeply involved in several communities, and was one of the main forces behind the Midwest Comic Book Association and its two shows:  FallCon and SpringCon.  Both MCBA and Source Comics & Games were regular supporters of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

Post was a well-known supporter of the Lupus Foundation, and was considered something of an icon at the Minnesota State Fair.  He was known as a kind and generous man, who always had a smile.

According to his obituary he’s survived by his son, Adam; parents Bill and Judy "Eunice;" siblings Gaby, Tony and Greg; many nieces, nephews, co-workers and minions; and we would add to that list his partners Bob Brynildson and Jerry Corrick.
