Marvel has provided a first look at Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #1, the first book in the new series written by Alex Kot and drawn by Marco Rudy that follows the shocking finale to Original Sin.  The Master Assassin takes on a new role in this series as “the man on the wall” who is charged with protecting Earth from extraterrestrial and extra-dimensional threats by any means necessary. 
 




James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes isn’t working alone.  Former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Daisy Johnson (aka Quake) is at his side and she brings her own set of skills to their new extraterrestrial adventures.
 









Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #1 ships to retail on October 1st.  As per usual with a #1, Marvel has a slew of variant covers for The Winter Soldier #1 including a Design Variant by Marco Rudy, who also did the standard cover as well as the interior art, plus additional variants by Skottie Young, Steve Epting, plus a Deadpool 75th Variant by Dan Panosian, and a Blank Variant.
