Krispy Kreme and Sony Pictures Consumer Products announced that Krispy Kreme will offer special Ghostbusters doughnuts from September 29th through October 31st.  Two special Kreme-filled offerings, a Ghoustbusters doughnut with a logo and a Stay Puft Marshmallow doughnut with the face of the character, will be sold during the period.

There is much activity around the 30th anniversary of the release of the movie, including a limited theatrical run, a new DVD and first time Blu-ray release, and collectible merch (see "'Ghostbusters' Theatrical Re-Release").
