Marvel has released the Alex Ross variant cover for the first issue of its Star Wars: Darth Vader comic series, which premieres in February (see "Marvel Launching 3 'Star Wars' Comics").  The series, set after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV--A New Hope, is written by Kieron Gillen, with art by Salvador Larroca.
 






Along with it was the cover and news about the second Original omnibus, Star Wars: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus Vol. 2.   The first collection will be released in January (see "Marvel Kicks Off 'Star Wars' Program").  Vol. 2 will have 848 pages, and release to book trade on May 19.  MSRP is $125.00.
