Paizo, Inc and Dynamite Entertainment announced Pathfinder Origins, a new limited comic series debuting in February.
 
The six-issue series will be written by Erik Mona (Paizo Publisher and Chief Creative Officer), F. Wesley Schneider (Paizo Editor-in-Chief), and James Sutter (Paizo Senior Editor).  Issue #1 will be scripted by Mona, with art by Tom Garcia (Mercy Thompson, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser), and include a main cover by Stjepan Sejic.  There will be multiple variants available by Garcia, Sebastian Cichon, and Andrew Huerta, as well as a virgin art variant of the Sejic cover.  Each issue will include a pull-out poster map and a Pathfinder RPG bonus encounter.
 
Each issue in the  series will feature at least one of the main Pathfinder comics characters (Valeros, Seoni, Harsk, Merisiel, Kyra, and Ezren) in an early adventure, which will eventually have the team come together, and will include another Pathfinder iconic hero who has not yet appeared in the comics.
 
The Pathfinder RPG was the bestselling RPG on ICv2’s most recent RPG chart (see "Top 5 RPGs--Summer 2014").  

Dynamite Entertainment released a hardcover collection of the Pathfinder: Goblins comic in November (see "Preview: 'Pathfinder: Goblins' HC").
