Modiphius Games has announced that Kevin Wilson, the designer of Descent: Journeys in the Dark, Arkham Horror, Android, and Sid Meier’s Civilization: The Board Game, has been signed to develop a cooperative board game set in the universe of its Achtung! Cthulhu RPG. 

The new game, Achtung! Cthulhu--The Secret War, is set in the final days of World War II as a German assault catches the Allies unaware, the Black Sun unleashes evil from ancient sites, and dreams of Cthulhu inspire cultists to rise up before his return.  Players take the role of heroes of Section M and Majestic, who race across Europe battling the Third Reich and the Cultists of the Old Gods. 

The game is planned for Winter 2015 release.

Modiphius previously collaborated with Devil Pig Games on a mashup of Achtung! Cthulhu and Heroes over Normandie (see "'Shadows Over Normandie'").  The company previously released miniature rules for the game (see "'Showdown' Rules for 'Achtung! Cthulhu'").
