Marvel has already revealed that Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers and New Avengers series were going to come to an end in April in order to make way for the Hickman-inspired Secret Wars event (see "Marvel Ends 'Avengers' and 'New Avengers'"), but Marvel’s April solicitations have added another Avengers title to endangered species list. Alex Kot and Mike Walsh’s Secret Avengers is also coming to its tear-stained final issue in April, where they will be joined by the previously-reported end of James Robinson and Leonard Kirk’s Fantastic Four series (see "Marvel Ending 'Fantastic Four'").
Marvel’s April solicits also hint that the Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man series may be coming to an end with issue #12, which Marvel’s copy describes as "the epic conclusion," before softening that subtitle with the question, "is this the end?" It appears that Miles will play a major role in the Secret Wars crossover event, and he just might return in a new rebooted series, though Marvel has said nothing, save for the somewhat contradictory comments in the April solicitation for Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #12, and the cover image that shows the hero fading away.
Other April-shipping Marvel events of note include the launch of Charles Soule and Steve McNiven’s Uncanny Inhumans, as well as the launch of a fourth Star Wars title, Kanan: The Last Padawan (see "Marvel Announces 'Kanan: The Last Padawan'"), which is set in the Star Wars Rebels universe, and the launch of Marvel’s adaptation of James Patterson’s Maximum Ride (see "Marvel Launching 'Maximum Ride' Miniseries").
