Mark Amoroso of Blackthorn Gamecenter in Dickson, Tennessee saw our coverage of the early release of D&D 3.5 (see 'Gameboard Breaks 'D&D 3.5' Street Date') and says he doesn't understand the reaction:

 

I'm confused.  Everyone is upset because the street date is supposed to apply to everyone?  Are they upset because they missed a chance to compete with the mass-market guys at their own game and actually make some money?  What's the deal with Amazon?  If this listing is correct, they are breaking street date.  Either that or they are lying about having the book.  In addition, who supplied the books to them?  Is the supplier not enforcing the street date release?
