IDW Publishing, best known for publishing horror titles such as 30 Days of Night, is planning its first superhero comic for October.  Gene Pool will be a $6.99 48-page one-shot by veteran writers Marv Wolfman and Len Wein, and newcomer artist Steven Cummings.  The book will be supported by a retailer incentive of one signed copy for every 25 ordered.
