Not Final Art
Right on the heels of the successful launch of The Art of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (see “He-Man Art Book”), Dark Horse is teaming up again with Mattel to publish the definitive He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Minicomic Collection, a deluxe 1232-page compendium of those cool little minicomics that came packed with MotU and Princess of Power toys.

The first 11 or so of the MotU minicomics were produced by DC Comics and featured art by Mark Texiera and Bruce Timm, though from 1984 on the comics were all created in-house by Mattel.  The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Minicomic Collection is a 6” x 9” hardcover with a $29.95 cover price that contains all the minicomics from Mattel’s 1980s Masters of the Universe line, the 1980s Princess of Power line, and the 90s He-Man line, plus an introduction to the minicomics in the current Masters of the Universe Classics toy line, all of which are presented in their order of production.

The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Minicomic Collection will be in comic book shops on October 21, 2015 and in bookstores (and available online) from November 3, 2015.
