Looney Labs has shared details of its upcoming Fluxx Dice, releasing on August 28.  Not a stand-alone game, this expansion can be added to any of the many Fluxx card games on the market.

The intent of the expansion is to add even more variability to the already unpredictable card game. The box includes a pair of special Fluxx dice:  one “draw” die and one “play” die.  The dice replace the standard “draw 1, play 1” rule of the game.  Instead, players roll the dice each turn to see how many cards they must draw and play.  Five new cards are also included in the expansion.

MSRP is $12.00.  It will also be available as a six-piece countertop display.

There are already more than 12 versions of Fluxx on the market, with two more—Batman Fluxx and Adventure Time Fluxx—scheduled to release later this year (see “‘Batman’ and ‘Adventure Time’ ‘Fluxx’”).
