Mr. B Games will release Posthuman, a new board game from Malta design studio Mighty Box, in Q4.  The very successful Kickstarter campaign pulled in nearly $350,000 from over 5,000 backers.

In Posthuman, the players are a handful of human survivors in a world that has turned against them.  Natural forces are quickly reclaiming the land, while roving mutants hunt the last remnants of mankind.  Player can work together to try to reach a fortress that shelters what’s left of humanity, or throw in with the mutants and deny victory to the other players.

The game will include a playing board, four player mats, over 300 game cards, 72 terrain tiles, four wooden playing pieces, 44 wooden cubes, 18 custom dice, and a variety of counters and tokens.

The game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, with a playing time of about 30 minutes per player.  MSRP has not yet been announced.  A Defiant Expansion is also planned.
