Passport Game Studios will release three games at Gen Con on July 30: Warehouse 51, Pocket Imperium, and the Exodus: Proxima Centauri expansion Exodus: Edge of Extinction. Trade release will closely follow the Gen Con debut.

Warehouse 51 is designed by Bruno Faiduitti (Citadels, Mascarade, Mission: Red Planet) with Sergio Halaban & Andre Zatz (Sheriff of Nottingham), and co-published with FunForge. Players are multimillionaires bidding on the now-broke U.S. government’s Warehouse 51 inventory that is up for auction. The goal is to accumulate the most valuable items, while avoiding the paranormal pitfalls these mystical artifacts may possess which can alter the game. What’s worse, they may  turn out to be fakes.  The game is for 3-5 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $25.00.

Originally released as a popular print-and-play game, Pocket Imperium is a pocket-sized (5” x 7”) space conquest game produced by LudiCreations.  The game is a “4X microgame,” in which each phase of the game is, in itself, a game (expand, explore, exploit, exterminate).  Players take the role of leaders of one of four different space-faring races, competing against each other to explore the galaxy and claim space.  The goal is to explore, find resources, claim planets, expand the fleet, and ultimately conquer foes in open warfare, exterminating the other races.  The game is for 2- 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. MSRP is $35.00.

Exodus: Edge of Extinction is the first expansion for NSKN Games’ Exodus: Proxima Centauri (see “'Exodus: Proxima Centauri'”). The strategic empire-building game expansion adds Fleet Commanders to the game, allowing players to implement new, more intricate strategies.   It also adds the new “combat” card type.

The game is for 2-6 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 120 minutes. MSRP is $80.00. As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.
