Citing "philosophical differences," long time Vice President of Operations at Diamond Comic Distributors Cindy Fournier is stepping down from her key position overseeing the logistics of the world’s largest distributor of American comic books.  Fournier, a longtime industry veteran who started working with distributor Alternate Realities in the mid-1980s, and then toiled for Bud Plant, Inc. before joining Diamond, will "continue to work with Diamond in an advisory capacity for the foreseeable future," according to a statement released by Diamond.

Vice President of Purchasing John Wurzer will take over Fournier’s VP of Operations role, and Director of Purchasing Tim Lenaghan is being promoted to Executive Director of Purchasing and will oversee Diamond’s Purchasing Department.
