Between seven and 17 players secretly assume the rolls of criminals or civilians in a typical gangster-era-style town. The mobsters want to “murder” enough of the civilians to take control of the town, while the honest civilians hope to identify and execute all of the criminal elements. This version of the game also features a number of special characters with unique abilities, including “loner” characters like the “Femme Fatale” that seek to infiltrate the mob. A “Yakuza” scenario is also included, which adds a second criminal faction that seeks to eliminate the Mafia members.
