2016 will mark the 40th Anniversary of the classic Metamorphosis Alpha RPG and in honor of the occasion, MA creator James M. Ward has authorized Goodman Games to publish Metamorphosis Alpha: Epsilon City, a huge expansion for the starship Warden that is the biggest expansion for the original 1976 RPG to date. Originally created by Ward and published by TSR, Metamorphosis Alpha was the very first science fiction role-playing game (see "Jim Ward's 'Metamorphosis Alpha'" for a complete description of the core rulebook for the new edition of the classic game).
Goodman Games plans to publish Metamorphosis Alpa: Epsilon City as a deluxe hardcover and has already surpassed its goal on Kickstarter with 35 days remaining on the project. Stretch goals include the creation of a Metamorphosis Alpha: Epsilon City Box Set that would contain additional adventures in the spirit of 1970s RPG gaming, a Game Master’s Screen, a Mutant Hotel sourcebook, plus maps and geomorphs.
Look more information on this project from Goodman Games in the near future.
