Looney Labs has partnered with Penguin Young Readers to produce a card-based version of the classic fill-in-the-blank party game Mad Libs.
Like many other word-based party games, in Mad Libs: The Game players play word cards from their hand to match the central sentence card, trying to create the most humorous combinations possible. Players then vote on which version of the sentence is the funniest to win the round, and the first player to win three rounds wins the game.
The game is still in development, and no release date has yet been announced.
Originally created in 1958 by Leonard Stern and Roger Price, Mad Libs has become a world-wide classic, with over 125 million books sold.
